Launching of the “Adolescent Mental Health Care” in Yuzhong County
On the morning of May 19th, the Ever Care Charity Foundation's “Adolescent Mental Health Care” officially inaugurated at Heping Middle School in Yuzhong County. In attendance were:
1.Mr. Chen Xingjia, the founder of Ever Care Charity Foundation;
2.Mr. Wang Xuewen, Vice President of Public Affairs at New Oriental Education and Technology Group and Chairman of the Beijing New Oriental Public Welfare Foundation;
3.Ms. Ma Ying, Deputy Secretary of the Gansu Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League;
4.Mr. Zhang Wenjun, a member of the party group of the Gansu Federation of Industry and Commerce and Vice Chairman of the Gansu Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce;
5.Ms. Ma Xiaofeng, Vice Dean of the School of Psychology at Northwestern Normal University;
6.Ms. Gao Yonghong, Vice Mayor of the People's Government of Yuzhong County;
7.Mr. Du Yongying, Party Secretary and Director of the Yuzhong County Education Bureau.
During the event, Mr. Du Yongying and Mr. Chen Xingjia signed a project cooperation agreement.
SSubsequently, Ms. Gao Yonghong, Mr. Du Yongying, Mr. Wang Xuewen, and Mr. Chen Xingjia, unveiled a plaque for the "Adolescent Mental Health Care", marking its official launch and initiation phase.
Mr. Chen Xingjia, in his address, emphasized that with the involvement of experts and their professional teams, the core of the "Adolescent Mental Health Care" is to assist schools in establishing a comprehensive five-circle psychological health education mechanism, in which there are: psychology instructors, headteachers, subject teachers, parents and students.
Following the launch ceremony, Mr. Chen Xingjia conducted an engaging growth session for the students, discussing themes related to learning and personal development, such as “Stay curious about the world,” “Never compromise on ideals,” and “Be confident about yourself.” These insightful discussions inspired and motivated students.
The project aims to “positively influence students with the assistance of teachers, and positively influence parents with the assistance of schools,” thus pioneering an innovative model for school-based psychological health education. This approach seeks to identify, understand, and heal the mental health challenges faced by children and adolescents.
